Waiting on Wednesday (30)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Legacies by Pittacus Lore

This Book Includes:
Six's Legacy
Nine's Legacy
The Fallen Legacies (One's Legacy, Second's Legacy, and Third's Legacy)

Six's Legacy:
Number Six—when John meets her in I Am Number Four she’s strong, powerful, and ready to fight. But who is she? Where has she been living? How has she been training? When did she develop her legacies? And how does she know so much about the Mogadorians?

In I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Six’s Legacy, discover the story behind Six. Before Paradise, Ohio, before John Smith, Six was traveling through West Texas with her CÊpan, Katarina. What happened there would change Six forever….

Nine's Legacy:
Number Nine—when John frees him from his cell in the power of six, he’s ferocious, reckless, and ready to fight back. But being held captive changes a person—even a Lorien. See what Nine was like before his capture, and read about his dramatic escape from his point of view.

In I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Nine’s Legacy, discover the story behind Nine. Before meeting John Smith, aka Number Four, before being held prisoner, Nine was hunting down Mogadorians in Chicago with his CÊpan, Sandor. What happened there would change Nine forever...

The Fallen Legacies:
Before Number Four, there were One, Two, and Three. Until now we've only known that the Mogadorians caught Number One in Malaysia. Number Two in England. And Number Three in Kenya. But all of that is about to change. . . .

In i am number four: the lost files: the fallen legacies, you'll learn the true story behind these ill-fated members of the Garde. Before they were murdered by the Mogadorians, before Number Four was next, they were all just kids on an alien planet called Earth—discovering their powers, trying to stay hidden, and running for their lives. (Goodreads)

I just found this and it sounds good. I loved I am Number Four and still need to read The Power of Six and I think this will be a nice companion.

Waiting On Wednesday (15)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore
Expected Release Date: August 21, 2012

It all began with nine. Nine aliens who left their home planet of Lorien when it fell under attack by the evil Mogadorians—who scattered on Earth and went into hiding. They look like ordinary teenagers, but they have extraordinary skills. The Mogadorians killed Number One, Number Two, and Number Three. They tried to kill Number Four ... and failed.
Number Four (aka John Smith) has now teamed up with Number Nine, while Six has gone off to find the others. With the Mogadorians hot on their trail and time running out, they must find a way to come together, before it's too late. Power in numbers will save them all.

I still need to read The Power of Six but I loved I am Number Four and Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I am number four Review

I am number four by Pittacus Lore

This book is great. I don't normally read about Aliens but this book is so good. I read it super fast because I didn't want to put it down. This gives you the picture of Aliens walking among us and looking just like us but with powers. The Aliens are all numbered when they come here and they cannot be killed out of order. the first 3 are dead and he is number 4 so they are coming for him so he must run. This book has action and even a little romance but not enough to make it so guys don't like it ;) guys and girls can enjoy this book just the same! My Fiance who never reads read it in a day! I was impressed! I can't wait to read the Power of Six! :) I highly recommend this book!
