I ended up having quite a mailbox this week! A few of these e-books I forgot to add last week. I'm excited about all of these books and I can't wait until I have a chance to read them. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare, Fair Game by Patricia Briggs, Everlasting by Elizabeth Chandler, Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs, and Cast in Silence by Michelle Sagara are some of my top reads this year. Some are new releasing and some are older that I just need to get back to. There are so many books to distract me. I can't wait to read all of these and a lot more.

Tessa thought she was a normal human girl, but found out how wrong she was when her aunt passed away. She had nothing left in New York, so she left for England to be with her brother. When she arrived she was captured by a pair called the Dark Sisters, and taught what she could do. The night she was to be given to someone called the Magister, a Shadowhunter (supernatural secret police) named Will rescued her and brought her back to the London Institute.  Once she was free from the Dark Sisters all she wanted was to find her brother and save him. She found out a lot more then she bargained for in that search.

 This was another fantastic book by Cassandra Clare. I loved reading about the characters in a different century than when the Mortal Instruments series took place. I also liked that it was in London, giving different scenery than the other books.

I absolutely loved the characters. They worked very well together and felt real. The various relationships in the book were great especially Jem and Will’s. They have a unique relationship and their banter is hilarious. I was laughing throughout this entire book and a lot of it was because of them.  Will’s snarky remarks are also a lot of fun.

“Are you implying that shreds of my reputation remain intact?" Will demanded with mock horror. "Clearly I have been doing something wrong. Or not something wrong, as the case may be." 

He banged on the side of the carriage. "Thomas! We must away at once to the nearest brothel. I seek scandal and low companionship.” 

I have loved all of Cassandra Clare’s books. I easily get lost in them and this one was no different. She always pulls me into the world and then I don’t want to come out. That is how I felt when I finished this book and I can’t wait to start reading Clockwork Prince. I have no doubt that it will be just as good.

I cannot wait for this book! The cover is beautiful as usual. I have been anticipating this book since I turned the last page of City of Fallen Angels, which left me wondering what the heck was going on. I love this series and will most likely read anything Cassandra Clare writes.

I had a hard time coming up with ten, that is why a lot of them are favorite series I have that i just can't wait for the next book to come out. J.K. Rowling is definitely my number one. I would love her to write something else. I loved the prequel idea that she did for an exercise but isn't writing. i think it would be fun to read about Harry's parents and the whole gang when they were young. Who knows, maybe some day!

I got some great books this week :) The books I got at Books A Million, I got from the Bargain section and they were Buy 2 Get 1 Free so I only spent like $12 on all three of them. :) I finally got Wither, which has been on my list for a while! I already had the mass market of Iron Kissed but I love the series and they just released it in Hard Cover this week, so I now have all of the books in the series in Hard Cover :) yay. They were all printed in Mass Market only until the fourth book and they they started printing them in hard covers because they sold so well. I was annoyed because my books didn't match until the finally went back and began re-releasing the older ones in hardcover. If you haven't read the Mercy Thompson series, you should! It is one of my favorites!

I got one book from netgalley that was an instant read because of the new book coming out. DId anyone else see that Bloggers cannot get Disney-Hyperion books anymore? :( I saw some ones that looked good also. I'm not happy about this. :( I hope they change it back.
